The other landscape of Mizoram

Hilly indeed, but we do have other places that one must come back to discover...This is Champhai valley....

now you know of more places to visit in Mizoram. In this district, there is a national park called Murlen, which is supposed to be the best in Mizoram...

visit to Mizoram
We had the good fortune of visiting Mizoram for about 11 days. We went around with the help of Serow Travels (Ms Ruati)to many places mentined in the articles. The poeple are really nice and the natural beauty is very good. One feels a bit monotonous since there are no well known monuments, but it was interesting to attend a Mizo wedding in Lunglei, Tan dil and Rih dil across the Myanmar border, and to see the biggest drum (now put behind Bars!!) in Aizawl. We were amazed to learn that Mizoram is the most peaceful state and that it has won an award for this achievement from the Central government.
We would certanily like to go back
